2. Heavy & Lite Massage. I'm especially proud of this
technique-and, it has proven to be very popular! One hand does something
intense while the other hand does something light. For example, when
doing deep work on the neck and shoulders, massage the scalp with the tips
of the fingers. Or, do a
very strong glide with the palm of the hand away from the spine with one
hand, while the other hand uses the tips of the fingers to move away from the
other side of the spine. You then switch to the other side of the body and
repeat up and down both sides of the spine. This technique can also be
done on both sides of the legs, with one fist knuckling the hamstrings
or quads, while the other hand is brushing across the soleus and
gastroc muscles.
